I'm an odd, eclectic amalgam that shows the extensive diversity of my upbringing. I read too much. I love to garden, cook, sew, crochet, knit, spin, weave, etc. As well, I make drums, rattles, fans and other and sundry leather work.

I write when the spirit moves me, and occassionally get paid for it. I even have some who are hounding me to finish what I started where a certain story is concerned.

I love to ride my motorcycle and head out to Hippy Hollow whenever I can.

I love to camp - the rougher the site the better. To me a cabin in the woods does not constitute camping. Camping should entail a bit of a hike and no one else in the immediate vicinity. I miss Colorado every spring and fall in a big, big way.

I absolutely love to ski. It's one of the biggest things I miss about Denver. That easy access to the slopes.

I am a member of the local fibre guild WSSA, and attend the Austin Stitch-N-Bitch meetings.

I am an avid fan of plays and musicals - on the stage. Cabaret is one of my absolute favorites to see in the theatre. I enjoy museums and nature parks like Westcave and love to go out when the astronomy clubs have their shindigs and stare up at the shiny bits in the sky.

Anyone who knows me for any length of time in real life will most likely wind up being fed by me. I love to cook. I'm not a huge fan of eating, but I absolutely adore cooking. Indian and Italian are the two styles that I lean toward, though since I tend to make my own recipes, they are often more a "Mediterranean" type dish than any one ethnicity. I love to bake even more, though I haven't had the space to really pursue cake design or such. I tend to stay with breads, tortes and pastries. I love to experiment and will use my friends as guinea-pigs at will.

I am currently working for QLogic's DVT Engineering team. I have done software, firmware and hardware testing in the past; though, my strongest specialties lie in transport networks and process streamlining.

I am often found in fantasy land on WoW Silver Hand - alliance side most regularly. I enjoy the escapism that running my avatar around ripping stuff to shreds allows. Not to mention the real life friends scattered around the world that I get to spend time with even in such a periphial manner.

I walk along upon the shore
And wander where I have been before
Another life, another time,
Another path along the line.

What have I learned along the way?

I walk where I have been before.

The path I walk may be the same,

I walk a path I've not walked before.
For I have learned and I have grown.
I have seen the Chalice and the Stone.
